The mind usually quits long before the body does. In CrossFit, we call the "dark place" that moment in a workout where every fiber of your being wants to stop.
Building mental grit is just as important as building physical strength. It starts with small wins—finishing that last rep, showing up when you're tired, and refusing to cut corners.
Next time you're in the middle of a brutal circuit, focus on your breath and one rep at a time. The mental toughness you build in the gym will translate into every other area of your life.
